Phyllis Ann Baron, 81, of North Tonawanda, NY, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on April 20, 2025, at her residence. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Jessie (Mancuso) Cimino.
Phyllis married Frederick J. Baron on August 31, 1963 in Our Lady of the Rosary Church. She was employed by the Niagara Falls Board of Education as a lunch aid and gym aid for 33 years. Phyllis enjoyed going to Batavia Downs, traveling to Florida with her husband and fishing. She loved her family and spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends.
In addition to her husband of 61 years, Phyllis is survived by her children, Christine (Patrick) Castile and Ann Marie (Andrew) Szolnoky; grandchildren, Ronald (Ashley) Szolnoky, Patrick (Lauren) Castile, Nicholas (Samantha) Castile and Andrew P. Szolnoky; great grandchildren, Emma and Arianna Szolnoky; nephews, John (Becky) Cimino and family and Sam (Rose) Cimino, her best friends, Evelyn, Beverly, Karen, Sherry, Bob and Cathy, as well as several cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Sam (late Norma) Cimino.
Private funeral services and entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY were held at the convenience of the family.
