Rhonda Stenzel, 54, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family.

Born in Winchester, MA, Rhonda was the beloved daughter of the late Edward and Donna (Klein) Siegmund. A proud graduate of Trott Vocational High School, she continued her education and earned her Associate’s degree from Harrisburg Academy of Arts in Harrisburg, PA.

Rhonda dedicated her life to caring for and nurturing children, working at various daycare services across Grand Island and Niagara Falls, NY. She also extended her kindness and compassion as a home health aide for several years. Rhonda had a deep love for the outdoors—whether camping, swimming, traveling, or enjoying a car ride, she embraced life’s simple joys. Above all, her greatest pride and joy were her children and grandchildren, who meant the world to her.

Rhonda is survived by her cherished children, Ashley Paron, James Hebert Jr., and Rebecca (Rex) Hebert-Kline; her husband, Edward Stenzel, and his children, Stephanie Stenzel, Teresa Stenzel and Chris Stenzel; her adored grandchildren, Rex Jr., Rayden, Rilynn, and Remington, along with many other dear grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Deb Carapezza, Carla Carapezza, and Joe Carapezza; her adopted daughter, Nicole Contrino, as well as many other beloved children she raised and cared for throughout many states. She is also survived by her former husband, James Hebert Sr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Chrisitine M. Carapezza. 

Rhonda’s warmth, generosity, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and treasured memories that will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
