Gina A. Ranalli, 93, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on March 12, 2025 at Northgate Health Care Facility in North Tonawanda, NY. Born in Sette Frate, Province of Frosinone, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Enrico and Restituta (Tamburri) Volante.
Gina moved to the United States in 1949 with her family. On August 31, 1952, she married Anthony Ranalli in Mt. Carmel Church. Mr. Ranalli predeceased her on June 16, 2005. Gina was a co-owner of Manhattan Cleaners and was employed at K-Mart, retiring in the mid-1990s. She was a member of the Cataract Lodge ISDA. #240 and the Hyde Park Bocce League. Gina loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and was always there for anyone in a time of need.
Gina is survived by her children, Donald V. (Maryjean) Ranalli and Marianne (Sean) O’Laughlin; her grandchildren, Donald (Amber) and Michael (April) Ranalli, Kristin (Brian) Crawford, Sean O’Laughlin, and Adam (Jill) O’Laughlin; ten great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her siblings, Amelia (late Vincenzo) Nardelli, Anthony (Teresa) Volante, Gerardo Volante, and sister-in-law, Nancy (late Lou) LaPorta-DiNardo (late Joseph LaPorta).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20 from 11 AM – 12 PM at St. Vincent de Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church, 1155 N. Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304, where Gina’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 Noon. Entombment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
