LOCKPORT– Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced that Quennel R. Jordan, age 40, of New Jersey, was sentenced to spend the next 15 years in prison for a series of crimes committed in Niagara Falls in 2021. Jordan previously plead guilty to one count of Attempted Assault in the First Degree, two counts of Assault in the Second Degree, and one count of Attempted Assault in the Second Degree. Jordan admitted to assaulting an individual with a baseball bat in July of 2021 and attempting to do the same to another person in June of 2021. The defendant also admitted to his involvement in the stomping of an individual outside a gas station in the Falls in July of 2021, and finally to assaulting a fourth individual in June of the same year.
The sentence was imposed by County Court Judge Caroline Wojtaszek and includes a 5 years of post-release supervision after the 15 years is served.
The cases against the defendant were investigated by the Niagara Falls Police Department and prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Christine Savoia and Laura Jordan.
