POTSDAM, N.Y. — Potsdam sprinted out front with three first-half goals and finished off a 4-0 victory over visiting Buffalo State in a SUNYAC contest this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bears opened the scoring in the 18th minute and pushed the lead to 3-0 with a pair of goals just 26 seconds apart in the final minute of the first half.
- Potsdam added a final tally in the 51st minute before packing it in to secure the shutout.
- The Bears finished with a 19-6 advantage in shots and attempted five corner kicks, compared to none by the Bengals.
- Emma Krenzer (Scottsville/Aquinas) finished with five saves for Buffalo State in 79 minutes played, before Alexis Hanson (New York/West Broward) made her first appearance as a keeper, making one save over the final 11 minutes.
FOR THE FOES
- Lexi Dean scored twice for Potsdam, and Rylie Murray had a goal and two assists.
- Gabby Hobika made two saves for the shutout.
