On October 27, 2018, SP Amity Troopers arrested Melissa A. Farley, 35, of Belmont, NY for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, DWAI – Drugs, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
During the investigation of a property damage accident on Pleasant Valley Road in the town of Wirt, Troopers determined Farley had been operating her vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance. During the investigation, Troopers also observed Farley to be in possession of approximately one gram of heroin and several prescription pills that were not prescribed to her.
Farley was arrested and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Wirt Town Court in November.
