The Amherst Police Department reported today that Detective Gregory Trotter has been put on administrative leave.
According to a post to the police department’s social media, a complaint has been filed in US District Court involving Trotter, leading to the decision to put him on paid leave.
“No other information will be provided,” according to Amherst PD.
