NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — The Niagara women’s swimming and diving team narrowly fell to Waterloo, 104-98, on Saturday.
Meet Notes
- Avery Sanquist won the 1000 free with a time of 10:48.71. Delaney LaBue placed second in the event with a time of 11:33.02.
 - Sanquist placed second in the 200 free with a time of 1:59.99 and second in the 500 free with a time of 5:13.33.
 - Hannah Charlton took first in the 200 IM, finishing the event in 2:16.29. She placed second in the 100 fly with a time of 59.72.
 - Hayley Tasselmyer won the 100 free with a time of 54.70. She finished second in the 100 breast with a time of 1:08.74.
 - Isabella DeSimone took second in the 100 back (1:02.67).
 - The relay team of DeSimone., Lauren Hume, Lauren Nicastro and LaBue won the 200 free relay with a time of 1:41.75.
 
Coach’s Corner
- “Waterloo is always our closest meet of the year,” said head coach Ben Nigro. “It was exciting to watch all of the close racing and cheering.”
