
Jean Boos, 93, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025, at OLP Ascension Living in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Grace (Jackson) Boos.
Jean dedicated her life to caring for and nurturing children. She worked for Niagara Children Etc. (now Empower) as a Teacher’s Aide for over 30 years and continued her service as a foster grandparent at HANCI in Niagara Falls for more than 20 years.
Jean found joy in playing bingo and spending time with her beloved family. A devout Catholic, she was a longtime parishioner of the former Mt. Carmel Church, where her faith guided her daily life.
She is survived by her sister, Barbara (Carmen) Morreale and was Special Aunt “Grandmother” to Anthony (Melissa) Morreale Sr., Brenda (Jerome) King, Louis (Brandi) Morreale, Matthew (Denise) Morreale and Paulette (Mark) Morreale-Moore. She is also survived by many other loving nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
Jean was predeceased by ten siblings, Patricia Magliazzo, Kathleen Swailes, Annie Boos, Mary Qui, Lawrence Boos, John (late Barbara) Boos, Dennis (Vicki) Boos, George (Theresa) Boos, Charles Boos, and Richard Boos.
Jean’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 6, at 10 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Please assemble at church. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
