Wayne F. Stauffer, 70, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed peacefully at home on November 26, 2025, after a lengthy illness. Born on August 14, 1955, in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Carl and Leanna (Hoffman) Stauffer.

Wayne spent most of his life in Niagara Falls, NY. He threw himself into work across several areas of endeavor. One of his earliest jobs, around age 12, was at a dairy farm in the Southern Tier, where he spent several years tending to cows and other farm animals, as well as driving, repairing, and maintaining heavy farm equipment. At one point, he traveled around the country a bit and eventually landed a job in Aspen, Colorado, where he stayed for several enjoyable years.

Wayne was a very sociable person who loved a colorful life and was always on the move. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by three siblings, along with many cherished nieces, nephews, their children, cousins, and dear close friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers.

Per Wayne’s wishes, there will be no prior visitation. Private interment and funeral services at Oakland Rural Cemetery in Youngstown, NY, will be held at the convenience of his family.
