Christine Eleanor Scrivano (nee Dean), 67, of Niagara Falls, New York, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025. Christine will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the love she shared so generously with those around her.

Born with a compassionate heart and a strong spirit, Christine touched countless lives throughout her years. Whether through her devotion to family, her friendships, or her presence in the community, she made others feel seen, supported, and cared for.

Christine dedicated 36 years of her life to her work in banking, where she was known for her reliability, dedication, and genuine care for colleagues and customers alike. Beyond her professional life, she was defined by the love she poured into her family and the steady kindness she offered to others.

Christine gave back to her community through dedicated volunteer work at Heart, Love & Soul, the City Mission, and Earth Day initiatives. She also had a deep love for music and attended countless shows at the Riviera Theatre in North Tonawanda, a venue that held a special place in her heart. Christine also cherished the holidays, but above all, she found her greatest joy in spending time with her family who will miss her dearly. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, resilience, strength and unwavering love, one that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Christine is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Joseph Scrivano, whom she married on December 9, 1978 at St. Joseph’s Church. She is also survived by her children, Joseph (Sheri) Scrivano, Mathew Scrivano, and Jenna (Robert) Whalen; her cherished grandchildren Zoey Scrivano, Wesley Whalen, and Parker Whalen; her sister, Jayne (Marty) Metzger, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by three siblings, Linda Olson, Patricia James, and Judith Murray.

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 4 from 4 – 8 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin on Friday, December 5 at 9:15 AM, followed by Christine’s Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Entombment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery will be held privately.
