
Niagara women’s swimmer Natalie Killion has been named the Jersey Mike’s MAAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week the conference announced Wednesday.
Killion had a dominant weekend winning all four of her races. She claimed victory in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 55.87, a new Kiernan Center Pool Record. In the 200 Backstroke she touched first with a time of 2:00.84. Killion also played a pivotal part in the 200 Medley and 400 Free Relays first place finishes. Her Backstroke leadoff leg of 26.03 set a new Pool Record, while her 100 free split of 52.29 was the fastest in the field Saturday. All of Natalie’s backstroke swims from Saturday established MAAC leading times for the season.
Niagara swimming is back in action Saturday November 1 as they host St. Bonaventure at 12 p.m.
