Tony was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the US Navy on the USS Lake Champlain for 6 years. Reunited with his parents Anna (nee D’Elia) and Vincenzo Zona.
Tony worked as an Engineer at Bell Aerospace in Buffalo, NY
Devoted father of Nicholas Zona, Angela Zona and Antonio (Julie) Zona.
Loving grandfather of Matthew, Joseph, Victoria, Seanna, Nicholas and Sophia and fond great-grandfather of Anna, Matthew, Cody and Joshua; dearest brother of Claudia (Robert) Panczyk, Bill Zona and Gloria Zona, and the late Rosa (late Antonio) DiLettera, late Rita (late Mario) Capaccio and the late Amelia Zona.
Tony is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family will be present Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 3-7 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem). Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Josaphat Parish (William & Peoria Ave.) Monday at 10 AM.
Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheektowaga, New York.
Tony will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his dedication to family, and his unwavering faith. He leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
