Esther Fischer, a cherished mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness.
Born on July 17, 1941 in Buffalo, NY to Mary (nee Casseri) and Michael Draicchio.
She poured her heart into her work as a cosmetologist, owning and operating Esther’s Beauty Salon in Depew, NY, where her love of beauty and genuine care for others touched countless lives.
She is survived by her cherished children Michael (Lisa) Fischer and Leanne (Craig) Zlotek; her loving grandchildren Amanda Fischer, Dalton Fischer, Mitchell Fischer, Collin Zlotek, Luke Zlotek, and Lawson Zlotek; and her devoted great-granddaughter Addilyn Dasta. She was a dearest sister to Loretta (late Michael) Beliveau, and is also fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Family and friends will be present on Wednesday, October 29th from 3 PM to 7 PM at the Pietszak Funeral Home, located at 2400 William Street, Cheektowaga, NY 14206.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Philip the Apostle Parish, 950 Losson Road, Cheektowaga, NY 14227 on Thursday, October 30th at 10 AM.
Burial will follow at St. Adalbert’s Cemetery in Lancaster, New York.
The family asks all who knew Esther to leave a message in the Guest Book or upload a photo to the Online Photo Album. These memories will serve as a cherished reminder of the love and joy she brought into the world.
Her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
