BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo State men’s volleyball team, led by head coach Daniel Miranda, have announced their schedule for the upcoming 2026 season. The Bengals will see their second season of action in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) as they aim to repeat as conference champions.
The Bengals will open the season on the road at the Hobart Tournament where they will battle Sage, Hartwick, host-Hobart, and Misericordia (Jan. 16-17). Buffalo State will then head up to Potsdam to take on the Bears, Regis, and Manhattanville (Jan. 23-24). Finishing off the early season road trip will be the Baldwin Wallace Tournament where Miranda’s squad will face the Yellow Jackets, Mount Union, St. Norbert, and Misericordia (Jan. 31-Feb. 1).
Buffalo State will then return home for the first time of 2026 with a matchup against St. John Fisher (Feb. 6) and a tri-match with Carlow and Thiel (Feb. 7). The Bengals will then embark on the road again as they will open AMCC play at Houghton (Feb. 10) before heading to Nazareth (Feb. 11), Penn State-Behrend (Feb. 19), and Thiel and Geneva (Feb. 21).
Next up will be four consecutive AMCC matchups as the Bengals will host Hilbert (Feb. 25) before heading to Carlow (Feb. 27), Penn State-Altoona (Mar. 6), and Mount Aloysius (Mar. 7). Miranda’s team will then host Mount Union (Mar. 11) before making one last road stop at Hilbert (Mar. 18).
Miranda’s team will finish the regular season with six home contests against Penn State-Behrend (Mar. 19), Houghton (Mar. 24), Penn State-Altoona and Juniata (Apr. 3), and Mount Aloysius and Nazareth (Apr. 4).
The AMCC Tournament will begin on April 8 with two semifinal matchups. The winners will play for the AMCC Championship on April 11. Last season, the Bengals swept Mount Aloysius and Penn State-Behrend to win their first conference title in program history.
