Niagara University, N.Y. – Goals from Morgan Kulniszewski and Caitlyn Grady help Niagara get past Merrimack 2-1 at Marton-Mejail Field in North Andover, M.A.
 
Merrimack kicked of the scoring in the 3rd minute of the contest.
 
Senior Morgan Kulniszewski added the Purple Eagles first goal of the contest to tie the game at one in the 36th minute. Kulniszewski pulled the trigger at the top of the 18-yard box, as she bent the ball past one of the Warriors defenders and past the keeper on the right side of the cage.
 
Caitlyn Grady added the eventual game winner for Niagara in the 38th minute. Grady scored off a free kick just outside of the penalty area and bent it in as it beat the Warriors keeper on the top right corner of the goal to put the Purple Eagles up 2-1.
 
Merrimack added pressure in the second half recorded four shots with two of them finding their way to Julia Poissant.

• Niagara is now 1-1 all time against Merrimack
• Both of Grady’s two goals are game winners
