Nancy Nestorowich, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. Born on Tuesday, February 22, 1938, in Buffalo, New York, to Josephine (nee Gibalski) and Adam Sendor, Nancy was a beacon of warmth and compassion throughout her life.

As the Bookkeeper and Office Manager at Iroquois Bag Co. in Buffalo, Nancy was known for her dedication and meticulous nature, traits that extended beyond her professional life into her role as a devoted wife and mother.

She was the beloved wife of the late Walter Nestorowich, with whom she shared a deep and abiding love.

Nancy’s greatest joy came from her family. She was a devoted mother to Mark (Sherri) Nestorowich and Susan (Rob) Phibbs, and her love only grew as she became a grandmother to her four grandchildren: Matthew Adam Nestorowich, A. Mason Phibbs, Deven Luke Nestorowich, and Kasey Josephine Phibbs. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and she took immense pride in their accomplishments and happiness.

Nancy was also a loving niece to Dolores Zelasko and a cherished aunt to Ron (Linda) Nestorowich, Lucy (Carl) Watts, and the late Terry (Cathy) Nestorowich. She is survived by numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins, all of whom will remember her for her gentle spirit and unwavering support.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Nancy’s life on Sunday, October 19th, from 12-4 PM at the Pietszak Funeral Home, 2400 William Street, near Harlem Road.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday morning at 10 AM at St. Philip the Apostle Parish, 950 Losson Road. Please assemble at the Church.

Burial will follow at St. Matthew’s Cemetery in West Seneca, New York.

Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in Nancy’s name to University at Buffalo Neurosurgery (UBNS).

In this time of sorrow, the family encourages all who knew Nancy to leave a message in the Guest Book or upload a photo to the Online Photo Album. These memories will serve as a cherished reminder of the love and joy she brought into the world.

Nancy will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
