Wilma L. Remaley, 69, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on October 9, 2025 at Kenmore Mercy Hospital in Tonawanda, NY. A cancer survivor with a tenacious spirit, Wilma passed away from natural causes from an unrelated illness. Born in Parkersburg, WV, she was the daughter of the late Burl Raymond and Zella (Edgell) Sinnett.
Wilma was raised in West Virginia and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, most recently employed for three years at Eagle Point Nursing Home in Parkersburg. She was a former member of the Jaycees in West Virginia and moved to Niagara Falls in 2023 to be closer to her family.
Wilma had a deep love for animals and enjoyed spending time in nature. She found joy in art and coloring, reading, and quiet moments outdoors. She will be remembered for her kind and compassionate spirit, and her boundless generosity.
She is survived by her daughters, Hope (Michael) Rice and Donna Boggs; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Wilma was predeceased by her children, Dawn Boggs and Jason Boggs; and her siblings, Dovie Sinnett, Ray Sinnett, Rusty Sinnett, and Jimmy Sinnett.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13 from 5 – 6 PM at St. George’s Orthodox Church, 1073 Saunders Settlement Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14305, where funeral services will follow at 6 PM, where the funeral procession will begin Tuesday at 11 AM, with interment at Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
