At the age of 97, John was a retired mechanical engineer from the Board of Education.
Reunited with his parents, Frances (nee Wojtulski) and Frank Sirotski, and his wife Joyce (nee Smetansky) Sirotski.
Devoted father of John (Angela) Sirotski, Christine (Rodney) Johnson, Robert Sirotski, Kathy (Joe) Zangara and late Joanne Marcucci.
Proud grandfather of Jason, Adam, Marilyn, Sue, Kathy, Melissa, Jennifer, Betty, Rachel, Rodney, Andrew, Steven, John, Joe and late Anthony.
Beloved uncle of Patricia Jezewski.
John is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family present Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 4-7 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem), where services will be held Friday, September 12, at 9:15 AM and at St. Stanislaus Church, 123 Townsend Street, at 10 AM.
Burial with military honors will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Cheektowaga, New York.
John’s memory will forever be treasured by all who knew him. His enduring spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us all.
