Willie Mae Clarke, 79, of Niagara Falls, NY went to be with the Lord peacefully surrounded by her family at her residence on September 3, 2025, under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Talladega, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Ollie Mae Davis.

As a child, she journeyed with her family to Niagara Falls, NY, where she would build a life rooted in love, laughter, and service.  Willie Mae dedicated herself to nurturing others, both professionally and personally. Her career reflected her deep care for community and family: she served as a Child Care Associate for the Center for Young Parents, worked at Niagara University’s Pizza Hut in the Gallagher Center, supported students as a lunch monitor for the Niagara Falls Board of Education, and most recently, brought warmth and joy as a Kitchen Aide at the Niagara Falls Air Base, where she was employed for over 15 years.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—visiting the casino, cheering on her beloved Buffalo Bills, and watching movies. Her cooking was legendary, her jokes unforgettable, and her sense of humor was a gift to all who knew her. Above all, Willie Mae cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Her laughter, love, and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Willie Mae is survived by her children, Regina (Ivan) Beeputt, Marvella Taylor, Jonathan (Lakisha) Taylor, Celinda Myles, and Bridgette Myles. She played a special role in raising her grandchildren Briana Works and Jamar Waters, and leaves behind a legacy of love through a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was sadly predeceased by her daughter, Ludrice Taylor, and her siblings, Clarence L. Taylor (Patricia Hunt), Willie James (late Mary A.) Taul, and Freddie Mae Bowers.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life during visitation on Wednesday, September 10, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church, 1366 South Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14305, where Homegoing Services will begin at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Riverdale Cemetery in Lewiston, NY.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice, www.niagarahospice.org.  Arrangements by M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
