Deborah Ann was born on Tuesday, May 4, 1958 to Geraldine (nee Nowicki) and Richard Szulist Sr. in Buffalo, New York. She is leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth that will forever be cherished by her family and friends. Deborah dedicated her professional life as a Claims Adjuster for McMahon Agency, where her meticulous nature and compassionate approach made a lasting impact on her colleagues and clients alike.
She was the beloved wife of Gordon Roman, who was her partner in life and love. Deborah was also a devoted fur-mom to her cherished pets, Shelby, Precious, and Rusty, who brought her immense joy and companionship.
Dearest sister of Kathy (Howard) Tendler, Richard (Janice) Szulist Jr., Diane Podosek and late Anne (William) Pavone. Fond sister-in-law of Denise (late Douglas) Cymny, Laura (Francis) Maiorana and Kathy (Joseph) Zangara and late Gregory (Janice) Beachner. Her family extends to many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family and friends to gather to honor Deborah’s spirit and the joy she brought into their lives.
Deborah’s memory will forever be treasured by all who knew her. Her enduring spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us all.
