Edwin Florian was born on Monday, December 13, 1937 to Harriet T. (nee Witkowski) and Stanley A. Kolasny in Buffalo, New York.  Edwin was a proud US Army Veteran and Postal Clerk for the United States Postal Service.

He was the beloved husband of Theresa (nee Pittner) for 62 years.

Devoted father of Anthony E. Kolasny, Christine T. (Barry) Karr, and Carl G. (Michele) Kolasny.  A loving grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Dearest brother of late Joseph A. Kolasny.  He is also survived by sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Family will be present on Wednesday, August 20th from 3-7 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William Street, near Harlem Road where services will be held Thursday morning at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Josaphat Parish at 10 AM. 

Burial with military honors will follow at St. Matthew’s Cemetery, West Seneca, New York.

Edwin’s memory will forever be treasured by all who knew him. His enduring spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us all.
