Frederick J. ‘Rick’ Feldhousen, 70, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on July 5, 2025 at his residence. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Frederick J. and Janis (Hengen) Feldhousen, Jr. and the stepson of Beverly Feldhousen.
Rick was a 1973 graduate of Bishop Duffy High School, and later attended Niagara County Community College and University at Buffalo. On September 8, 1979, he married Grace A. (McGill) Feldhousen at St. Mary of the Cataract Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Rick was employed as the Superintendent of Maintenance at Du Pont/Olin Mathieson for over 35 years until his retirement. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed taking care of his property and garden. More than anything, he cherished the time he spent with his family.
In addition to his wife of 45 years and his stepmother, Rick is survived by his children, Audra (late Edward) Jones, Frederick J. ‘Rick’ Feldhousen, and Erica (Mark) Miller; his grandchildren, Roslyn and Ezrah Miller; his siblings, Michael (Marilyn) Feldhousen, Thomas (Cindy) Feldhousen, James (Francine) Feldhousen, Teresa Cima, Timothy Feldhousen, Paul Feldhousen, and Phil Feldhousen, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Mark Feldhousen.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11 from 4 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304. Rick’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10 AM at St. Mary of the Cataract Church, 237 4th Street, Niagara Falls, NY, 14303. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
