Rosalie A. Muscarella, 87 of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on June 13, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her family. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Mamon and Estelle (Kopczynski) Mamon Kuzma.

Rosalie was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School.  On September 26, 1959, she married Paul J. Muscarella.  Mr. Muscarella predeceased her on September 17, 2021.  Rosalie was employed as a Lab Technician at Occidential Chemical in Niagara Falls, NY, before devoting her life to take care of her family.

Rosalie was a strong spirit with an unrelenting faith.  She led her family through life with her strength and was always reminding them that everything gets better with time.  Rosalie spent 2 decades helping to care for all of her grandchildren.  Her selflessness allowed her daughters to pursue and achieve their dreams.  Rosalie’s daughters are forever grateful for her endless sacrifices.  

She was also committed to rescuing and caring for dogs in need of help, giving each a wonderful home.  She enjoyed cooking for her family, puzzles, gardening, and in her later years, loved and excelled at video games.  Despite her small stature, Rosalie was a strong soul – she and her spirit will never be forgotten.

Rosalie is survived by her children, Kathleen (Todd) Collins, Jennie Muscarella, and Josephine (Austin) Brunett; her grandchildren, Chelsea Beane, Paul Wissel, Bryan Collins, Daniel Collins, and Michael Collins; her great-grandson, Cosmo Michael Collins; her sisters, Joanne Bernat and Karen Blanzenski, her adopted sons, Russ Polka and Don Phillips, her beloved dog, Maggie, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her husband of 62 years, she was predeceased by her brothers Robert (late Vonceile) Mamon and Anthony Mamon.

A Private Funeral Service, Mass and Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY, will be held at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org, Roswell Park, give.roswellpark.org/, or to the Niagara County SPCA, www.niagaraspca.org/.  Arrangements by M.J.
