Michael B. Marino, 70, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on June 9, 2025, at N.F. Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the beloved son of the late Joseph E. and Evelyn (Fabiano) Marino.
Mikie was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School, Class of 1973, and remained an active member of the Delta Gamma Ro fraternity. He was employed by the Niagara Falls Board of Education, where he worked diligently until his retirement in 2011. In addition, he dedicated many years to the Como Restaurant and formerly owned and operated his own landscaping business, Marino Landscaping.
Mikie was an incredibly easygoing and a good-hearted person, known for his kindness and sense of humor. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and loved his Camaro.
Mikie is survived by his siblings, Arline Manzi and Joseph J. (Gloria) Marino; his nieces and nephews, Gerald Manzi Jr., Carol Manzi, Mary Jo (Jeffrey) Stricker, Michelle (William) Suitor and Angela Marino; his cherished dog, Lucy, and best friend, Tommy Lester; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved Michelle Kelly.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 12 from 4 – 8 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls NY. Funeral services and interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery will be held privately for Michael’s family. Memorial offerings may be made to the Niagara County SPCA at niagaraspca.org.
