It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved brother, Gerard “Gerry” Signore, on April 18, 2025, at the age of 68. He passed away after a brief illness, surrounded by his family, leaving a legacy of love, laughter, and many cherished memories.
Born in Niagara Falls NY, and lived his entire life in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Antoinette (Marcantonio) and Mario Signore.
Gerry was a cherished brother, uncle, friend, and co-worker. Known for his kind and generous heart, he touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He had a passion for music, the Boston Red Sox, great food and most of all, golfing.
For over 43 years he enjoyed his annual golf trip to Edinboro, PA with family and friends. He worked in automotive sales in Western New York for over 40 years.
Gerry was selfless and always put others needs first above his own. Gerry was a devoted uncle and adored his nephews and nieces and recently became a great-uncle.
Throughout his life, Gerry was deeply committed to supporting his local community. In his younger years, he served as a coach for Hyde Park Little League – an experience he truly enjoyed. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he volunteered with a nonprofit organization to deliver meals to families in need. No matter the circumstances, if someone needed help, Gerry was there.
In his honor, please consider a donation to FeedMoreWNY.org to continue his legacy of compassion and service.
His sudden passing leaves an emptiness that cannot be filled, and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who loved him.
Gerry is survived by his siblings JoAnne (Mitchell) Sapp, John (Mary Beth) Signore, Julie Signore, Silvana (Fred) Iuretig and Mark (Peg) Signore. He is also survived by 4 nephews, 2 nieces, and 1 great-niece and cousins.
