Niagara County Legislator Shawn Foti today reminded residents that the county has begun accepting reservations for picnic shelters in county parks for this summer and reservations are filling up.  The county operates five parks – Krull, Oppenheim, Royalton Ravine, West Canal Marina and Burmaster at Bond Lake.

“It may seem a little early to be thinking about a birthday party, family reunion or graduation party for this summer, but if you hope to host your event in one of the county’s parks, you may want to consider making your reservation now,” said Foti, who chairs the Infrastructure Committee which oversees the parks.  “We continue to invest in our parks, adding amenities and improving the infrastructure, so if you are looking for a venue and haven’t been to a county park in a while, you may want to check I tout.

Reservations can be made at www.niagaracounty.gov/parks.  There are also shelter maps available and a list of parks rules and policies.
