Larry J. Albano, 74, of Tonawanda, NY, passed away on March 13, 2025, at VA Buffalo Medical Center in Buffalo, NY.  Born in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late Jean F. (Leonard) Schaefer and the late Lawrence Albano.

Larry served proudly in the United States Army Airborne in Vietnam during the Vietnam War from 1968 years until his honorable discharge in 1971.  He was employed with Buffalo Charter School in Tonawanda, NY until his retirement in 2024.  In his spare time, Larry enjoyed playing golf and watching sports.

Larry is survived by his longtime companion, Sandra Lewis; his siblings, Laurie (Dennis) Laskowski, Suzanne (Richard) Kreuger, Jenny (Frank) Gallo, and John Albano; his step-children, Joseph (Tina) Lewis and Karee (David) Campo; many step-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by his brothers, Paul Albano and Carl Albano.
