Brian E. Bean, 68, of Grand Island, NY, passed away on February 17, 2025, at Kenmore Mercy Hospital in Tonawanda, NY.  Born in Richford, VT, he was the son of the late Philip and Mildred (Ferchette) Bean.

Brian served in the United States Army Reserves in Massachusetts until his honorable discharge in 1972.  He came to Western New York in 2021 to be closer to his daughter.  He was previously employed as a Janitor for McDonald’s in Massachusetts.  Brian enjoyed riding his bike and watching crime shows on television.  More than anything, he loved the time he spent with his family, to whom he showed much kindness and care.

Brian is survived by his children, Jennifer Bush and Jody (late Nicole) Bean; his grandchildren, Emily Bean, Maegan Martin, Aiden Bush, and step-grandchildren, Korie Fulton and Gabby Fulton; his great grandchildren, Bella, Oakely, and Greyson; his brother, Joe Bean, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by his siblings, Shirley (late Pete) Webb, Jean (George) Fitch, Pam (late Russ) Riel, Kenny (Doreen) Bean, and Nancy Bean.
