The new Big Ditch Brewery location in Lockport is getting closer and closer to opening … but no date has been announced yet for when that opening might be.
“But believe us – it’s really, really close,” the brewery says on their website.
A blog post on that website notes that the brewery has made many accomplishments since the end of 2024, including:
- The front of house construction, including the flooring, has been completed.
- The bars and the draft towers have been completed.
- The POS system is installed and tested.
- The kitchen equipment has all been delivered and is now operational.
- We’ve completed some beer delivery to the site, and we’ll be tapping beers at all bars by the end of the week!
Still to come:
- Receiving the bar stools
- Installing all the TVs and speakers
- Bringing in all the products we intend to serve, like food, liquor, etc.
- Training our staff!
The brewery says the next update will provide information “on open days and times, the final menu, new beers we’ll be tapping for the opening (we’re planning on 4 new beers at open!), and any other pertinent information.”
