LOCKPORT — Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced that a Niagara County jury returned a guilty verdict on all counts in in the Murder case against Matthew Glass, 24 years old, of Atlanta, Georgia. Glass was convicted of Murder in the Second Degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, and Witness Tampering in the Third Degree. Glass shot 48 year old Robert Miller to death on October 2, 2023, while Miller sat in his vehicle on Pine Avenue in Niagara Falls.
“The defendant committed this brazen act of violence in the middle of a busy Niagara Falls business district. Mr. Miller’s family may never understand why the defendant shot him to death in cold blood, but hopefully this verdict will impart a sense that justice has been done,” said Seaman.
The case was investigated by the Niagara Falls Police Department and prosecuted by First Assistant District Attorney Doreen Hoffmann and Assistant District Attorney Mattie Davis. Glass returns to court to be sentenced by County Court Judge John Ottaviano on April 10th.
