A retired sorter and warehouse person who dedicated 15 years of her career life to The Salvation Army, Camille, also known as “Penny,” passed away at Buffalo Mercy Hospital at the age of 74.
She had a passion for crocheting and was known for her exceptional gardening skills, capable of bringing any plant back to life.
Penny’s love for her grandchildren was boundless, and she was renowned for her culinary talents, especially her Italian Christmas Cookies and Caprese salad.
Penny was the beloved wife of the late Kurt Werner, and was a devoted mother to Carl Werner and his wife Bernadette, and Tommy Werner.
She was a loving grandmother to Tommy, Werner Jr., Shaylyn Werner, and Giovanni Werner.
Penny was the dearest daughter of the late Onorfio and late Mary DiDomenico and the sister of Joan Mayer and Mary Steele, and she is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Private services were held at the convenience of the family.
