LOCKPORT — Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced that yesterday evening in the Town of Lewiston Court the Honorable Hugh Gee sentenced Gary Sullo, age 58, to three years probation for his conviction of two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Sullo had been charged with multiple counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Unlawful Dealing With a Child for providing alcohol to underage adolescents at his home in Lewiston from 2016-2018.
Seaman stated: “My office took a very firm line in Mr. Sullo’s case. We offered him no plea reduction and he plead guilty to the highest charges against him. He was subject at sentencing to the same punishment he would have been subject to had he been found guilty of all counts after trial. My office did not agree to a probation sentence and asked the court to sentence the defendant to jail time. I do, however, understand the court’s sentence as the defendant plead guilty to misdemeanors and has no prior criminal record.”
