NIAGARA FALLS — The All WNY bowling team won two games and the total over Hillltop Cuts in the Sanborn Businessmen’s bowling league at Rapids Bowling Center, picking up five points on the night.
On the Hilltop Cuts team, Sean Brayley rolled a 149-162-176 for a 487. John Gansworth rolled a 191-200-168 for a 559. Kris Brayley scored a 207-203-219 for a 629 series. And team patriarch Ben Brayley, who teammates say “doesn’t like money,” bowled a 179-158-180 for a 517 series. With handicap, the team had a 890-887-907 for a 2684 team series.
On the All WNY side, Tyler Mondoux shot a 164-232-163 for a 559 series. Anthony Berak rolled a 140-108-88 for a 336 series. Scott Leffler rolled a 113-111-130 for a 354 series. And team captain Andrew McGrath scored a 204-236-235 for a 675 series. With handicap, the team scored 897-963-892 for a 2752 series.
Coming into the night, All WNY had 79 points and was ninth in the 10-team league. With two weeks left in the league season, that’s where they’ll end up, barring any minor miracles.
They’ll be back on the lanes on Tuesday, Jan. 19.
