On January 13, 2024, Troopers out of SP Clarence arrested Andrew T. Marino, 27 of Amherst, NY for Driving While Intoxicated- BAC > 0.08 and other vehicle and traffic infractions.
On January 13, 2024, at 2:29 A.M., Troopers responded to a vehicle off the road on Cedar Street and Martin Road in the town of Newstead. The 2023 Toyota Corolla was located and while interviewing the operator, Marino an odor of alcoholic beverage was present. Marino was placed under arrest after failing multiple SFSTs and transported to SP Clarence for processing. Marino recorded a .12% BAC.
Marino was issued traffic tickets returnable to the town of Newstead Court for a later date in February 2024.
