On December 29, 2023, Troopers out of SP Amity arrested Levi S. Ganoung, 21 of Portville, NY for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated- BAC > 0.18%, Driving While Intoxicated and other vehicle and traffic infractions.
On December 29, 2023, at 9:39 P.M., Troopers were dispatched to a domestic incident and while in route the male half left the scene in a vehicle. Troopers located Ganoung on Wolf Creek Road in the town of Genesee. While interviewing Ganoung, an odor of alcoholic beverage was present. Ganoung was placed under arrest after failing multiple SFSTs and transported to SP Amity for processing. Zenger recorded a .20% BAC.
Ganoung was issued traffic tickets returnable to the town of Genesee Court for a later date in January 2024.
