On December 31, 2023, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested James Sheldon, 45 of Falconer, NY for Driving While Intoxicated- BAC > 0.08 and other vehicle and traffic infractions.
On December 31, 2023, at 11:24 P.M., Troopers stopped Sheldon on North Work Street in the town of Ellicott for traffic infractions. While interviewing Sheldon, an odor of alcoholic beverage was present. Sheldon was placed under arrest after failing a SFSTs and refusing additional SFST’s and transported to SP Jamestown for processing.
Sheldon was issued traffic tickets returnable to the town of Ellicott Court for a later date in January 2024.
