NIAGARA FALLS — The All WNY Bowling Team started out strong Tuesday night, but dropped the second and third games and ended up losing five of seven points to Davis Insurance in the Sanborn Businessmen’s Bowling League at Rapids Bowling Center.
On the Davis Insurance team, Glenn Walck Sr. rolled a 154-178-159 for a 491. Marty Lauer bowled a 114-125-156 for a 395 series. Dan Frederick rolled a 187-210-224 for a 621 series. And Dan Oravec shot a 180-150-202 for a 532 series. With handicap, the team had a 829-857-935 for a 2621 team series.
On the All WNY side, Tyler Mondoux bowled a 204-175-200 for a 579 series. Anthony Berak bowled a 97-91-86 for a 274 series. Scott Leffler rolled a 139-127-93 for a 359 series. Team Captain Drew McGrath rolled a 171-181-186 for a 538 series. With handicap, the team had a 885-848-839 for a 2572 series.
Each game in the league is worth two points in the standings, while the overall team series is worth one additional point, giving the Davis Insurance team five points on the night and Team All WNY two points.
Coming into the night, All WNY was eighth in the 10-team league. They could drop a spot after the loss
