Guy L. Bush Sr., 71, of Niagara Falls, passed away on November 21, 2023 at his residence. Born in Bridgeport, CT, he was the son of the late Joyce (Bush) Doming and the step-son of the late Alfred Doming.
Guy lived in Massachusetts for most of his life, where he worked as a contracted painter and owned and operated Bush Brothers Painting in Springfield, MA for over 30 years. In 2007, he married Susan (Landry) Bush in Grand Island, NY. Guy enjoyed watching television and listening to music, especially Jim Reeves and Johnny Cash. He also loved boating with his family. Guy will be remembered most for his heart of gold, his willingness to help anyone in need, and his good natured and humorous demeanor.
In addition to his wife of 18 years, Guy is survived by his children, Guy L. Bush Jr., Joey (Lisa) Bush, Aiyana Bush, and Whitney (Ashlie) Bush; his step-children, Beth (Paul) Colon and Tara McLean; his grandchildren, Samantha Bush, Alysha Bush, Tyler Bush, Gage Bush, Nicholas Bush, Jaiden Bush, Aiden Bush, Sophia Bush, Nikko Bush, Luca Bush, Felicia Boudreau, Jacob Orzulak, Tammy Marie Paul, Madison Muise, and Mikayla McLean; his great-grandchildren, Bailey, Jameson, Macie, and Preston; his siblings, Michelle (Julie) Doming, Ella Doming, Renee Doming, Shaun Doming, Valerie Doming and Glenn Doming, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Guy was predeceased his son, Frederick Bush, his step-son P.J. Muise Jr., his grandson, Joey Bush Jr. and his brother, Joel Doming.
A private celebration of Guy’s life will be held at the convenience of the family.
