CAROLYN HICKMON ALLEN entered into eternal rest on October 24, 2023.
Beloved mother of Troi C. Fronczak (Louis), and Steven (Brittney) Allen; dearest grandmother of Steven Charles Lucas, Jerron Allen, Tyme Allen, Skye Allen, Nathan Willert, Nariana Willert, Sincere Allen and Alexis Fronczak; great grandmother to Kaissus Allen and Steven Charles Lucas Jr.; daughter of Floyd O. Hickmon Jr. and Thelma O. (Arrington) Hickmon. She is survived by her children, one sister, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Carolyn was a teacher and principal for Buffalo Public Schools for over 30 years. She was an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Gamma Phi Omega Chapter, the Erie County Links, and of First Shiloh Baptist Church.
A Christian Burial service will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2023, 10 AM- 12 PM visitation, with funeral to follow at Noon, held at First Shiloh Baptist Church, 15 Pine Street, Buffalo, NY 14204. Entombment Forest Lawn Cemetery, Serenity Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Erie County Chapter of The Links Scholarship Fund.
