A Building Maintenance Engineer at ARC, a Human Services ~ Civil Rights Advocacy group in Williamsville, Andrew J. Burgio, passed away in Orlando, Florida, at the age of 74. 

Andy was a 25-year Veteran of the Niagara Falls International Air Force Base and served with the Air Force Reserves 914th tag Division. He was also a  member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the 33 Social Club, and the Love and Peace Group.

He was the beloved husband of Wende (Sailer) Burgio and the devoted father of Dawn (late Troy) DePronio and Andrea Burgio.

The proudest grandfather of 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Born, Wednesday, March 2, 1949, the loved Son of the late Andrew V. Burgio and the late Rose (Aquilina) Burgio, he was the dearest brother of Paul (Lynn) Burgio and the late Rosemary (late Charles) Orlando and brother-in-law of Dan (Lori) Sailer and Shelley (Joe Huey) Pacillo.

Andrew was also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. 

The family will be gathering for a Celebration of Andy’s Life at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William Street (near Harlem) on Saturday, November 11, 2023, from 10 AM – 2 PM, where a funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM.

Flowers are gratefully declined.

The burial will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, in Cheektowaga, New York, at a later date.
