The Niagara County Center for Economic Development (NCCED) will be hosting a lunch and learn event for local manufacturers to learn more about efficiency through technology.  The event features Elizabeth Callahan, Director External Relations & Special Programs, Buffalo Manufacturing Works and Henry Cialone, Ph.D., President and CEO, EWI.

According to Jeremy Geartz, project manager at NCCED, the event is about making manufacturers aware of the resources available to them to help them maximize production capabilities while minimizing organizational strain.

“There are certain challenges that face small to medium-sized manufacturers as they look for ways to better operate, compete and grow,” said Geartz.  “By bringing in Buffalo Manufacturing Works and EMI, we hope to offer up some suggestions.  For those already familiar with the Shift program, will be talking about Shift 2.0 and what it can do for you.”

The event will be held on Wednesday, October 25 beginning at noon at the NCCED, 6311 Inducon Corporate Drive in Sanborn.  A free lunch will be catered by Moe’s Southwestern Grill.  This is a free event, but pre-registration is required.  Email Jeremy.geartz@niagaracounty.com to secure your seat.
