Norma G. Boccanera, 96, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on October 4, 2023 at Elderwood at Wheatfield. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Connie (Finnochi) Fabrizio.
Norma was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. On May 24, 1947, she married Anthony M. Boccanera at St. Joseph Church. Mr. Boccanera predeceased her on December 31, 2014. Norma was employed for many years with Moore Business Forms as a Data Processor.
Norma is survived by her children, Barbara (William) MacKendrick, Michael Boccanera, and Mark Boccanera; her grandchildren, Connie (Russell) Pecararo, Gina (John) Carncross and Keith (Jennifer) MacKendrick; 8 great-grandchildren, Sofia, Christian and Jude Pecararo, Ronan and Mia Carncross, and Liam, Ava, and Brayden MacKendrick; her brother, David (late Charlene) Fabrizio, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband of 67 years, she was predeceased by her daughter, Linda Seefeldt, her son, Richard (Janice) Boccanera, and her brother Alex (Mary) Fabrizio.
There will be no prior visitation. Norma’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 25 at 10 AM at Holy Family Parish at Mt. Carmel Church, 27th and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice.
