Golden Griffins graduate student Tom Appenheimer has been named MAAC Men’s Runner of the week following his first-place finish at the Jasper XC Fall Invite last week.
Appenheimer won the men’s 8K with a time of 24:33.6 which broke the course record and helped lead the men’s team to a second place finish.
Appenheimer was coming off of a third-place finish at the Little Three Championships two weeks ago.
Canisius is set to run next weekend at the Paul Short Invitational in Bethlehem, Pa. hosted by Lehigh on September, 30 at 10 am.
