NIAGARA UNIVERSITY — The Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) announced their 2023 All-League teams. Niagara infielder Vincent Mauro was named to the 2023 All-League First Team after finishing the summer season with the Niagara Power.

He suited up in 42 games this summer for the Power and hit .348 with one homer and 31 RBI. He also tallied 11 doubles and came around to score 22 times. On top of the .348 average he drew 19 walks and swiped 20 bases.

His .348 average was eighth in the league and second among players with 40 or more games played. He ranked seventh in the PGCBL in doubles. He finished fourth in the league in stolen bases. At the midseason mark of the season he was named a PGCBL All-Star.

Mauro enters his junior season in 2024, last season he played in 44 games while hitting .276 with nine homers and 43 RBI. In his career with the Purple Eagles he has played in 78 games while making 67 starts.
