John M. Surma, 78, of West Seneca, NY, passed away on August 15, 2023 at Hospice of Buffalo. Born in Dunkirk, NY, he was the son of the late Victor and Irene (Frankevich) Surma.
John was employed as an Electrician with Hebeler Corporation in Buffalo, NY. He enjoyed playing the horses, going to the casino, and was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family.
John is survived by the love of his life, Maria Panaro; his daughter, Eden (Nicholas) Hovey; his grandsons, Logan and Lucas Hovey; his sisters, Barbara (late Norbert) Bajdas and Mary (Richard) Langworthy; he was also the beloved uncle of Shawna DeSabio (Robert DiPalma) and the brother-in-law of William (Michele Panaro) Coughlin.
