The land purchase for Amazon’s new distribution center has been completed. The 216 acres of land located at 8995 Lockport Road in the Town of Niagara will provide approximately one thousand new jobs and will help strengthen the tax base of the area.
“When it became known that Amazon was looking for a place for their new distribution center, we sought out land that could best accommodate their needs. We presented the land to my client who purchased it for development and as a possible site for the Amazon distribution center. We then reached out to the Town of Niagara Supervisor, who supplied a letter of support for the project. There have been many people involved in this project; I’m proud of the part Foster Re al Estate played in helping to bring it to fruition,” said Broker/Owner, Michael Foster.
