On July 17, 2023, Troopers out of SP Clarence arrested Cassandra M. Leroy., 24, of Alden, NY, for Aggravated DWI Leandra’s Law.
During a traffic stop on Genesee Street in the town of Alden, Leroy was exhibiting signs of impairment. Troopers determined Leroy had been operating a vehicle while in an impaired condition. Leroy had failed standardized field sobriety tests. She was arrested and transported to SP Alden, where a chemical breath test revealed a 0.11% BAC. Leroy was released with appearance tickets for the town of Alden court, where she is due to appear at a later date.
