On July 22, 2023, Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested Bob J. Jett., 48, of Castile, NY, for Driving While Ability Impaired by combined Drugs and Alcohol.
During a traffic stop on State Route 77 in the town of Sheldon, Jett was exhibiting signs of impairment. Troopers determined Jett had been operating a vehicle while in an impaired condition. Jett had failed standardized field sobriety tests. He was arrested and transported to SP Warsaw where he was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) from the Perry Police Department. Jett was released with appearance tickets for the town of Sheldon court, where he is due to appear at a later date.
