Mildred ‘Millie’ Martino, 84, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Sydney and Ruby (Switzer) Ives; and the loving wife of Angelo V. Martino, who she married on August 24, 1961 at the former Our Lady of Lebanon Church.
Mildred was raised in Niagara Falls where she attended local schools. She worked at DiCamillo Bakery on Niagara Falls Boulevard for over 17 years. Most of all, Mildred loved to spend time with her family, especially her beloved dogs, Mia and Roxie.
In addition to her husband, Mildred is survived by her children, Virginia (David) Martino-Bower and Antonio Martino; two grandchildren, Carmen (Jessica) Kilmer and Giona Kilmer; and was sadly predeceased by her grandson, Joseph (Stephanie Clark) Kilmer. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Joseph M. Kilmer and Angelo Kilmer; two siblings, Joanie Parvinski and Raymond (Patricia) Ives, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and grandson, she was predeceased by one brother, Ernie Ives.
In accordance to Mildred’s wishes, there will be no services. Memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice. Arrangements by M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel.
